On September 16, the Department of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal in Punjab will introduce the “Himmat Card” program, which will give financial support to those with impairments.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will personally deliver the first batch of cards to 15,000 participants in Lahore to mark the program’s official debut.
The Himmat Card initiative seeks to give 65,000 disabled people in Punjab access to financial assistance.
Every quarter, each participant will get Rs 10,500 via an ATM card that the Bank of Punjab will provide.
June was the start of program registration.
40,000 people will benefit from the program’s first phase, and on September 16, there will be a distribution ceremony in Lahore.
