A journalist discovered Lorenzo Carbone outside his home in Spezzano di Fiorano, in the northern Italian region of Modena, and he confessed to strangling his mother to death.
During a live TV interview, the man broke down in front of journalist Fabio Giuffrida, who covers Pomeriggio 5 on Italian television, and confessed his crime.
After then, the police were called, and Carbone was detained.
His 80-year-old mother Loretta Levrini was discovered dead in bed on Sunday afternoon by her daughter.
The journalist claimed that when he returned home a day later, it seemed to indicate it.
Mr. Giuffrida remarked, “I never would have imagined that I would find myself in front of an accused killer.” He went on to explain the moment he spotted Carbone approaching his own house.
I once saw a man approaching the entryway; he was perspiring and appeared disoriented.
When the reporter questioned who he was, Carbone said, “It’s me.”
