When three teenage girls from Dera Ghazi Khan tried to cross into South Africa, railway police came to their aid.
The girls, ages 14 and named as Aafia, Alisha, and Aiman, are cousins who had set out in pursuit of a brighter future.
The girls were on their way to travel to Karachi and then South Africa when they arrived at the Lahore railway station.
However, their trip was cut short when they were found abandoned in the station’s main porch by a duty constable, who took them into protective custody.
