It has been reported that a 30-year-old delivery agent was strangled after delivering smartphones valued at about ₹1 lakh.
Shortly after the delivery on September 23, the accused Gajanan and his accomplice Akash attacked the victim, Bharat Prajapati.
The event took place in Lucknow.
The incident started when the two enticed Prajapati to a house in the Chinhat neighborhood, where they had placed an order for Google Pixel and Vivo phones on Flipkart, with the option to pay cash on delivery.
After the delivery, they killed him and threw his body into a sack to be dumped in the Indira Canal.
After his family reported Prajapati missing on September 25, a police inquiry resulted in Gajanan’s identification via call logs.
