On Tuesday, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb declared that there will be greater stability for the Pakistani rupee.
Aurangzeb stated, “Then the inflation will be reached to 5 or 6 percent,” in expression of his opinions. “We have asked some of the distribution companies (DISCOs) to go for privatization,” Aurangzeb stated in reference to the DISCOs.
According to Aurangzeb, there have been restructurings on a number of boards in the power sector, including certain GENCOs and DISCOs.
“The system has the capacity to produce an additional Rs 7,000 billion. Distributors, wholesalers, and the real estate industry will all be included in the tax system. Individual taxpayer burdens will be lessened, and interest rates will drop much further,” he declared.
“Wheat and sugarcane will not have government support prices fixed.
