QUETTA: The police said on Wednesday that a bomb in the Sabakzai district of Zhob, Balochistan, resulted in at least one death and ten injuries.
The police also stated that efforts were being made to determine the nature of the explosion and that the injured were being sent to the hospital.
This comes at a time when Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the western province of the nation are bearing the brunt of terror assaults and are leading the state’s fight against terrorism.
The explosion that occurred today happened a few days after Deputy Commissioner Sherani Sana Mahjabeen’s car in the Tang Gwal Haiderzai region of Killa Saifullah district was shot by unidentified armed individuals, according to The News.
But the attackers were forced to retreat by the DC security officers’ return fire, and no casualties were reported .
