With an additional 17 cases confirmed in Rawalpindi, dengue remains a menace in the city.
The health department’s efforts to combat dengue were insufficient, according to information that came to light on Friday. After the spike in dengue cases, there have been 286 cases overall since July.
Additionally, 26 individuals were being treated at other hospitals.
It was previously reported a few weeks ago that several dengue larval cases had been found in the city. It had been stated that plans had been put in place to deal with any eventuality.
