The families of the young people slain in a July mass stabbing at a dance lesson with a Taylor Swift theme were greeted by the Prince and Princess of Wales on Thursday. William was supposed to be there, but Middleton showed up at Southport without warning.
On July 29, three children lost their lives. A 17-year-old teenager has been charged with the murder of the three little girls who were killed, while ten other people sustained injuries.
The statement, which was posted on X, said, “As parents, we cannot begin to imagine what the families, friends, and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport today are going through.”
We offer our condolences, best wishes, and prayers to everyone affected by this terrible and horrific assault. We also want to express our gratitude to the emergency personnel who, in the face of the most horrifying scenes, showed professionalism and compassion when your town most needed it. W & C, the royals came to an end.
At the Southport Community Center, Kate and William visited not only with the families but also with the fire, ambulance, air ambulance, and police departments.
