At the 6th Asian Open Kyorugi Taekwondo Championship, which took place in Tangerang, Indonesia, from October 15 to 18, 2024, Maliha Ali, a representative of Pakistan, earned a bronze medal in the -73 kg division.
Maliha, a Lahore Garrison University student, won awards for her outstanding performance by showcasing her commitment and hard work throughout the competition.
More than 275 competitors competed in the championship, which included intense competition from Asian countries such as India, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Nepal, and Indonesia, the host nation.
In the -73 kg division, Indonesia’s Maheshwari Nadira won the silver medal, and South Korea’s Shin Jeong Jin won the gold. Maliha’s achievements show her dedication to her work and also act as an example for her.
