Police claim that while locals were hard at work in their fields in the Shinguk, armed motorcycle riders approached and started shooting at them.
Consequently, three people were injured and two people, identified as Hidayat Hussain and Hashim Ali, died instantly from numerous gunshot wounds.
Two bodies and several injured people were reported to the District Headquarters Hospital, according to sources there.
Declaring it a terrorist attack, Deputy Commissioner Javedullah Mahsud stated that they were looking into the incident and that there were some violent elements involved.
