According to officials on Saturday, a “suicide bombing” in North Waziristan killed at least six persons, including four police officers, and injured numerous more.
According to the police, the attack was directed at a police station in Mir Ali’s Eidak neighborhood. They said that four of the victims were police officers.
A rescue effort was started, and the injured were taken to the hospital. In the meantime, the security personnel surrounded the area.
Since the Taliban took back control of Afghanistan in 2021, terrorism in Pakistan has increased. The majority of terror attacks are reported in the regions that border Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the neighboring countries.
