ISLAMABAD: The Sindh High Court (SHC) mandated a retest for prospective students following an investigation by an inquiry committee into the leaked Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) paper.
The entire MDCAT, which was carried out by Dow University, was corrupted at every level, according to the findings of the investigative committee, which were referenced in an article published in The News.
The order followed the submission of appeals to the provincial high court against the misconduct of MDCAT and the paper leak.
Petitioners who took the aforementioned test contested the legitimacy of the findings, arguing that the leak contaminated them and that the MDCAT administration was complicit in giving some candidates access to the material.
