LAHORE: Before departing for the Australia tour today, newly chosen white-ball captain Muhammad Rizwan and vice-captain Salman Agha met with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday.
Both Rizwan and Salman, who will be captaining the squad in the Twenty20 Internationals and One Day Internationals (ODIs), received well wishes from the chairman as well.
The board said in a statement today that the chairman, who met with the players in Lahore, expressed hope that the squad will do well in Australia and on the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.
Following three ODIs and T20Is each against the Kangaroos, the national team will play a series against Zimbabwe consisting of the same amount of games.
