The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) was asked to provide recommendations on Monday by the Islamabad High Court over the national Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) issues.
The medical students’ case was heard by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of IHC. According to the report, 30 of the test’s questions were not from the syllabus, according to PMDC’s attorney Jahangir Jadoon.
The court inquired as to the problem’s resolution. It requested written input from PMDC and postponed the case to tomorrow, Tuesday.
The Sindh High Court mandated last week that the MDCAT be held again in four weeks.
The MDCAT was carried out at several sites around Sindh and at two centers in Karachi: NED University and the Ojha Campus of Dow University of Health Sciences.
