In interbank trade, the Pakistani rupee lost four paise against the US dollar on Monday, finishing at Rs277.68 as opposed to Rs277.64 the day before.
The Forex Association of Pakistan reports that the open market dollar buying and selling rates were Rs277.25 and Rs278.75, respectively.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the price of the euro dropped 62 paise to settle at Rs299.96 from the previous day’s closing of Rs300.58.
While the British pound saw a 14 paise decline in exchange rates, closing at Rs360.05 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 360.19, the Japanese yen fell by one paisa to conclude at Rs1.81.
