The Pakistan Army-supported Umeed Special Education School in Peshawar, a specialized facility for kids with impairments, hosted a sporting event. Ninety special needs students from schools in Peshawar and Nowshera actively participated in the program.
Student participation in the competitions, which included tug-of-war, badminton, and cricket, was enthusiastic. The honorary guest was Lieutenant General Umar Ahmed Bukhari, the Corps Commander of Peshawar Corps. Together with the other guests, he commended the pupils’ performance, pointing out the remarkable vigor and excitement that pervaded the occasion.
180 pupils are currently enrolled in the Umeed Special Education School, which offers specialized support through a staff of qualified experts.
