ISLAMABAD According to The News on Thursday, the current administration has eliminated up to 6,770 federal positions from several ministries, agencies, and divisions as part of its rightsizing strategy.
According to the publication, 1,954 roles have been deemed dying in accordance with the federal cabinet’s August resolution about austerity measures, while 4,816 posts from Grades 1 through 22 have been dissolved.
On August 27, the federal cabinet made the decision to eliminate 60% of the open positions in the ministries and divisions in an effort to lower the federation’s administrative costs by shrinking the administrative structure.
According to information contained in an official document, two Grade-22 posts, 22 Grade-20 posts, 69 Grade-19 posts, 93 Grade-18 posts.
