KARACHI: Russia’s consul general in Karachi, Andrey V. Fedorov, expressed his happiness, saying that high-level interactions between the two sides’ leadership had further cemented the rapidly growing bilateral cooperation between Islamabad and Moscow.
Speaking during the “People’s Unity Day” ceremony held late Friday evening at the Russian Federation Consulate General, the diplomat explained that Russians mark the day on November 4 of each year to honor their country’s extraordinary tenacity.
According to Fedorov, commerce between Russia and Pakistan today totals more than $2 billion, and the two nations’ relations are evolving over time.
He asserted that all Shanghai Cooperation Organization members are on an equal footing and cooperating.
