In light of the rising levels of air pollution, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan called on the provincial government on Thursday to make sure that the “smog emergency” is enforced throughout the province.
According to specifics, Khan stated: “The haze is causing health issues for the population. Throughout the province, business and educational operations are being halted.
“The government is responsible for resolving the issues caused by smog. In my individual position, I would like to implore the Punjabi government to deal with the haze issues,” Khan continued.
“To combat smog, the Punjab government must take as strict measures as possible,” he stated.
“The credit goes to the Mohsin Naqvi,” Khan said, praising Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi.
