To put an end to child abuse, Sarah Ahmed, the chairman of the Child Protection Bureau and a member of the Punjab Assembly, has emphasized the need for collaboration among all parties involved, both in Pakistan and internationally.
Ahmed made these remarks while representing Pakistan at the inaugural Global Conference to End Child Exploitation in Colombia, a distinguished gathering designed to address global child protection concerns.
The meeting, which was organized by the Colombian government in cooperation with the Swedish government, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization, emphasized the pressing need for coordinated international action to combat child exploitation.
Pakistan’s position and commitments on child protection were addressed by Chairperson Ahmed, who also highlighted the nation’s achievements and future objectives in this area.
She emphasized the significance of concerted efforts to address problems like child marriage, corporal punishment.
