ISLAMABAD: Last night’s wonderful closing ceremony at the Allama Iqbal Auditorium marked the end of the 10th Islamabad Literature Festival (ILF), “Words Change Mindsets,” which featured 50 intellectually stimulating sessions, including a movie screening, dance recital, mushairas, theater, and a memorable Sufi night.
As keynote speakers and festival panelists, as well as distinguished guests, more than 100 well-known voices in literature and the arts graced the occasion.
Renowned author and critic Muneeza Shamsie commented on the transforming nature of such gatherings, saying: “ILF has shown us the unifying power of words, fostering dialogue across divides and inspiring change.”
“Literature shapes our perspectives and allows us to see the world through others’ eyes,” poet and author Najeeba Arif added, echoing the idea.
