Even though the cities are covered in thick pollution, educational institutions in Punjab’s Lahore and Multan will resume tomorrow, according to a statement released on Tuesday.
Punjab’s Environment Department announced the decision to reopen the educational institutions in the two cities most affected by the haze.
The letter stated that all professors, staff, and students must wear masks and that the educational institutions will open at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19.
Outdoor sports and other extracurricular activities will continue to be prohibited, it stated. Additionally, in order to minimize student traffic, the classes will depart at different times.
“Every school administration will be responsible for implementing precautionary measures,” the announcement stated.
The provincial government has previously closed schools.
