PESHAWAR: Aftab Alam, the law minister for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, denied media claims on Saturday that the province government’s helicopter in Parachinar had been attacked.
“No incident of firing at helicopter took place, and the entire delegation is completely safe,” Aftab Alam stated to News.
A helicopter conveying a government delegation from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Peshawar to Kurram district was attacked near Parachinar, according to earlier reports.
According to individuals who spoke to News, the helicopter made a safe landing following the shooting incident, and none of the delegation members were injured.
According to the sources, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur assigned the mission, led by KP Law Minister Aftab Alam, to visit Kurram district after a horrific gun attack on a convoy of vehicles left 44 people dead and several others injured.
