The fear of the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar terrorist attack is still ingrained in the memory of survivors and the relatives of the dead, even after ten years, since certain scars never go away.
Six attackers invaded APS on December 16, 2014, killing around 150 innocent teachers and pupils.
The first-hand witnesses and their families are still plagued by the fear of that atrocity. Some have used it as motivation to work harder in life, while others are still having trouble getting well.
An example of perseverance is the tale of Ahmed Khattak, who lived through the assault that killed his brother.
