KARACHI: In one-day international (ODI) cricket, star batsman Babar Azam has scored 6,000 runs.
He now shares the record for the fastest player to reach 6,000 runs, having done it in 123 innings, which was held by Hashim Amla.
Babar is now the fastest Asian player to attain 6,000 runs in addition to this accomplishment. Virat Kohli of India had previously accomplished the feat in 136 innings.
The former captain has now reached 6,000 ODI runs, making him the 11th hitter from Pakistan to do so.
