ISLAMABAD According to The News, Omar Ayub, the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, urged the Supreme Court and lower courts to uphold their authority by making sure their decisions are followed.
Speaking to reporters outside the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Ayub bemoaned the fact that he had been refused access to former Prime Minister Imran Khan, calling it a flagrant breach of the Constitution and the law.
He urged the chief justices of the Supreme Court and lower courts to restore the judiciary’s authority after criticizing it for not upholding its own rulings.
