RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Saturday that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir had praised the participating teams’ professionalism, mental and physical stamina, and high morale during the 8th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit (PATS) Competition.
The army chief, who attended the exercise’s closing ceremony, reaffirmed the importance of mutual learning during these types of exercises and emphasized that PATS is the ideal venue for fostering much-needed teamwork in the face of war’s changing nature by skillfully fusing the professional military skills and tactical acumen of all participating soldiers.
“To this effect, the Pakistan Army upholds rich soldierly attributes of ‘character, courage, and competence, which have been amply displayed by our men in the face of the fight against terrorism,” General Munir, COAS, said.
