ISLAMABAD: The National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) will hold a historic international conference in Islamabad tomorrow, May 1, in honor of International Labor Day 2025.
The purpose of the event, which will take place at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and has as its topic “Harmony with Change,” is to encourage discussion and consultation on issues such as workers’ rights, industrial harmony, and international-compliant laws in Pakistan.
Since 1969, the NIRC has not organized a significant national conference until now. Federal ministers, distinguished Supreme Court and High Court justices, labor union leaders, businesspeople, legal professionals, and top ILO representatives will all be present at the high-profile event.
