According to military sources, Pakistani security forces responded forcefully to India’s unprovoked ceasefire breach along the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday, amid continuing tensions between the nuclear-armed arch-rivals following the fatal Pahalgam incident.
An Indian checkpoint was damaged by Pakistani security forces on April 29–30 following late-night violence.
Security officials claim that Indian troops used unprovoked small arms fire in the Kiani and Mandal regions, in violation of the ceasefire accord. The threat was eliminated and Indian forces were silenced by the Pakistan Army’s accurate retaliation.
Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes successfully damaged a number of enemy bunkers, including the Chakputra station in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), according to security sources.
