KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted strong winds in the city today (Sunday), which might provide some respite for the city’s heat-weary citizens.
According to a statement released by the Met Office on Sunday, strong winds of up to 30 kilometers per hour are predicted to sweep through Karachi during the day today.
The PMD stated that tomorrow’s weather is predicted to be overcast with the potential for light rain in certain areas, with humidity levels at 58% at the moment.
The prediction of drizzle coincides with the fact that, in the last 65 years, April was the second hottest and seventh driest month in the nation.
