Indus, the military’s media department, reported on Monday that Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of a 120-kilometer-range Fatah series surface-to-surface missile as part of the ongoing military drill.
Following New Delhi’s extensive steps against Pakistan following the Pahalgam incident, which have brought bilateral ties to an all-time low, this is the second missile fired by the military amid elevated tensions with India.
According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the launch was intended to verify key technological specifications, such as the missile’s enhanced accuracy and sophisticated navigation system, and to guarantee the operational preparedness of the forces.
