Archaeologists have found the remains of a ship that may have sunk 500 years ago while excavating an old fish market in Barcelona, northeast Spain.
In the 15th or 16th century, the crew discovered the wrecked stern of a sizable ship that might have capsized.
A substantial piece of the boat, about ten meters in length and three meters in width, with over thirty curving wooden ribs across it, was discovered in fine shape five meters below sea level.
