KARACHI: On Wednesday evening, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) verified that every airport in the nation was operating as it should.
The PAA said in a statement that both local and foreign airlines can continue to fly in the country’s open and secure airspace.
Increased tensions between India and Pakistan at the nation’s key airports, including Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi, caused the flight operations to be suspended for about eight hours.
Numerous flights have resumed from both main airports, according to aviation sources. Today, one domestic flight and two foreign flights were operating at Karachi airport.
A private airline’s PA-401, the first aircraft to Karachi from Lahore, has taken off. Schedules for international flights from Karachi, however, varied. Ahead of schedule, PK-607 left for Dubai.
