ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday afternoon, the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of India and Pakistan initiated contact via a hotline. This is the third time the two countries have done so since agreeing to maintain a ceasefire that was negotiated by the United States and other friendly nations.
As previously mentioned on Monday, the two military officials reportedly discussed the situation on the ground and decided to keep things as they are, with the ceasefire remaining in place “for the time being.”
Neither party has released an official statement about the discussion or its precise results.
The News was informed by diplomatic sources that major international cities continue to maintain active relations with both New Delhi and Islamabad.
