In Sunday’s rain-shortened Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 encounter at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Lahore Qalandars defeated Peshawar Zalmi to advance to the playoffs.
For the first time in the history of the premier league, Peshawar Zalmi did not make it to the PSL playoffs, which was a new low for them.
Zalmi was only able to reach 123 for the loss of eight wickets while chasing a formidable 150-run mark in 13 overs.
With an undefeated 26, lower-order batsman Daniel Sams continued to lead Zalmi in scoring, followed by Ahmed Daniyal (24), Abdul Samad (17), and Babar Azam (16). The other batsmen did not reach double digits.
