According to local authorities, a bomb hit a house in the village of Hormuz in Mir Ali tehsil of North Waziristan on Monday, killing at least four children and injuring five more, including a lady.
According to sources, the same family was responsible for all of the fatalities and injuries. For medical attention, the injured were taken right away to Mir Ali Hospital.
Soon after the explosion, rescue crews and security personnel arrived at the scene and roped off the area. The bomb’s nature and origin are still unknown, though.
Residents of Mir Ali protested the loss of innocent lives in the streets after the tragic event.
