news The president of the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that Gaza’s health system is being pushed to its limit by increased Israeli ground operations and additional evacuation orders.
According to Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, an evacuation zone was declared on Tuesday that included the Indonesian, Kamal Adwan, and al-Awda hospitals located in the northern villages of Jabalia and Beit Lahia. There are two other hospitals within 0.6 miles (one kilometer) of it.
He stated that the Indonesian hospital was unavailable owing to Israeli soldiers surrounding it and Kamal Adwan was out of operation due to close conflicts.
The director of Al-Awda Hospital described the hospital as “totally under siege” on Wednesday, but it is still operational.
