For the third day in a row, Palestinians have demonstrated against Hamas in the streets of southern Gaza.
Videos shared on social media showed hundreds of protesters demanding that the armed group leave Gaza and that the war halt. “Out! Out! Out! “Out, all of Hamas!” they yelled.
Threats to prevent journalists from publishing any “negative news that could affect the morale of the people” circulated on WhatsApp groups on Tuesday, highlighting the dangers of speaking out against Hamas in Gaza.
Young people began the demonstrations on Monday, according to activists, and were joined by others who were still carrying their pots as they made their way to communal kitchens for food.
