Belfast resident Liam O’Hanna, 27, has been accused for showing a banner in support of the banned group Hezbollah, according to the Metropolitan Police.
It concerns an incident that happened at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, London, on November 21, 2024.
On Wednesday, June 18, Mr. O’Hanna, who goes by the stage name Mo Chara, is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
On 22 April, a video from the event was posted online and shared with officers from the Met’s counter-terrorism department.
Following an investigation, the Crown Prosecution Service authorized the charge.
