UNITED NATIONS: India has been urged to put an end to state terrorism and start a genuine discussion by Saima Saleem, Counselor on Human Rights for Pakistan’s Permanent Mission to the UN.
During the open discussion at the UN Security Council, Saima responded to India’s speech. She claimed that India has once again turned to denial, diversion, and false information.
“No amount of obfuscation can hide the facts,” the counselor told the 15-member council. “India has carried out blatant aggression against Pakistan, targeting civilians; sponsored terrorism and assassinations in my country and around the world; and brazenly killed and maimed civilians in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).”
