PESHAWAR: According to reports, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has stepped up its attempts to start fresh talks with the current administration.
According to sources, efforts are being made to start negotiations between the government and the PTI, with Barrister Saif and PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar playing a key role.
The sources claimed that increased tensions between India and Pakistan were the reason the discussion had halted.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Adviser on Information, told News that the PTI is not formally negotiating with any party at this time. Nonetheless, PTI founder Imran Khan’s release is still being sought.
