A mother and her three children were killed in a house fire in Brent, north-west London, and the Met Police reported that a 41-year-old male was arrested outside the buildings on suspicion of murder and is still being held.
According to press reports, the victims of the Saturday morning fire in Tillett Close, Stonebridge, were a 43-year-old lady, a 15-year-old daughter, and two boys, ages eight and four. The emergency services were alerted to the scene at approximately 01:20.
The fire destroyed two three-story terraced houses. According to the Met Police, a teenage girl and another woman in her 70s who were members of the same family as the four deceased were admitted to the hospital. They have not revealed their circumstances.
