According to the hospital caring for him, the spouse of a Palestinian physician in Gaza whose children were killed in an Israeli strike on Friday is still in severe condition.
Dr. Milena Angelova-Chee, a Bulgarian physician employed at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, told the news that Hamdi al-Najjar’s “life remains in danger.”
He and the couple’s 11-year-old son were hurt in an Israeli strike on Friday that killed nine of their ten children. According to the Israeli military, the event is being investigated.
Meanwhile, the Red Cross said that a strike on its Khan Younis residence on Saturday claimed the lives of two of its employees.
