Prince Harry’s recent actions have sparked considerable anxiety about King Charles’ response and the inevitable grief that would follow.
All of these cautions have been issued by royal author Robert Jobson, and they center on Prince Harry’s want to adopt the Spencer name from his mother’s side of the family instead of Mountbatten-Windsor.
“Let’s be clear: changing his surname from Mountbatten-Windsor to Spencer would have been no small thing,” the expert told Newsweek.
Because doing so “would’ve been a public rejection of his father’s family,” or even “a slap in the face to the late Prince Philip,” as it were.
