SWAT: District Police Officer (DPO) Swat reported on Tuesday that a young student at a seminary in the Khwazakhela district of Swat was allegedly beaten to death by his teachers.
One instructor was arrested in the event, which also went viral on social media, while two others are still at large, according to the police.
The DPO claims that more research has shown that physical abuse was a persistent problem at the madrassa, with some students experiencing harsh treatment in recent months.
Authorities have detained nine additional people connected to the abuse in light of these disclosures.
According to the DPO, a complaint has been filed under Section 302 (premeditated murder) and the applicable Child Protection Act provisions.
