LONDON: The trial judge said that Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was not on trial at the UK High Court because the case was between two people, Adil Raja vs. Rashid Naseer. As a result, the former Pakistan Army Major (retired) Adil Raja told the court that his publications and claims regarding the former sector commander Brigadier (retired) Rashid Naseer were in the public interest.
On the third day of the defamation action that Brigadier (retired) Rashid Naseer had filed against him, Adil Raja continued to testify at the London High Court via video link.
Under cross-examination, Raja was questioned about his journalistic practices by London High Court Deputy Judge Richard Spearman KC and Rashid Naseer’s attorney.
