ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has called on international tech platforms to work together to block these networks after identifying at least 481 social media accounts connected to terrorist organizations that are prohibited.
At a joint press conference in the nation’s capital on Friday, state ministers Talal Chaudhry and Barrister Aqeel Malik made this claim.
According to Interior Minister Talal Chaudhry, the detected accounts were being used using unconfirmed identification and anonymous names. He stated that Pakistan did not know the precise origins of the accounts and that all of them belonged to terrorist organizations.
He added that Pakistan remained a barrier between the globe and terrorism and that the government was looking for information from platform operators to assist in taking down these internet networks.
