KARACHI: International auditors from the Universal Aviation Security Audit – Continuous Monitoring Approach (USAP-CMA) programme praised the Airports Security Force’s (ASF) aviation security system, describing it as closely matched with worldwide standards for 2030.
A four-member USAP-CMA team, part of the United Nations body International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), arrived in Pakistan on February 18 to perform a “ten-day full-scale audit of aviation security protocols.”
The global specialists, lead by Oscar Annabel Rubio, came in Karachi for the “detailed scrutiny was aimed at enhancing the standards of aviation security through a process of regular evaluation, and oversight mechanism,” the ASF spokesperson said in a statement.
