The Chinese government extended on Thursday a helping hand to Pakistan by offering emergency cash aid totaling $100,000 for rain-affected regions in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
During a gift event at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong handed out cash assistance to Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary, Mohammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi.
Ambassador Zaidong reaffirmed China’s commitment to assisting Pakistan in times of catastrophe, emphasizing the necessity of immediate assistance to afflicted populations.
The Chinese Embassy published an official statement emphasizing the importance of this contribution in providing critical assistance to those in need.
Furthermore, it highlighted the proactive engagement done by Chinese entities in Pakistan, such as the delivery of 30,000 bottles of mineral water and 3,000 cans of food.Furthermore, efforts have been made to provide displaced individuals with refuge in the Gwadar Faqur School, demonstrating China and Pakistan’s long-standing friendship.
