The Palestinian Red Crescent said that Israeli forces encircled two additional Gaza hospitals on Sunday, trapping down medical staff under heavy gunfire.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, one of its employees was murdered when Israeli tanks unexpectedly moved back into areas surrounding Al-Amal and Nasser hospitals in the southern city of Khan Younis, under intense bombing and gunfire.
According to the military, Israeli forces initiated operations around Al-Amal after receiving “precise intelligence.”
The Red Crescent claimed in a statement that Israeli armoured soldiers had blocked off Al-Amal Hospital and conducted significant bulldozing operations nearby.
“All of our teams are in extreme danger at the moment and are completely immobilised,” the statement stated.
